He is a partner of the Firm Allende & García. Jorge holds a law degree from Universidad de Lima, and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Northwestern University School of Law, Chicago, Illinois, USA.
He is also a member of the Interamerican Association of Intellectual Property (ASIPI), where he served, among others, as President of the Committee for the Protection of Personal Data and Office Administration; the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), where he is President of the Peruvian chapter; the International Trademark Association (INTA) and the European Community Trademark Association (ECTA), where in both associations he is a member of the Committee for the Protection of Personal Data and is also a member of the Peruvian Association of Intellectual Property and Copyright (APPI), where he had the position of President (2017-2019).
He is also an Arbitrator and Conciliator in intellectual property matters at the Lima Bar Association and a member of the Industrial Property Advisory Commission for Brands and Patents. Jorge was adjunct professor at the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC-2011-2019); as well as professor of the Master's Degree in Business Law at the San Francisco Xavier Business School of Arequipa, and post graduate courses at the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia.
