Magali is a graduated lawyer and holds a law degree from the Universidad de Lima, and a Master's degree in Intellectual Property and Competition from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP).
Magali is a member of the Interamerican Association of Intellectual Property (ASIPI), the Peruvian Association of Intellectual Property (APPI), the International Trademark Association (INTA), the Brazilian Association of Intellectual Property (ABPI) and the Lima Bar Association (CAL). As a member of these Associations, Magali has been a member of the INTA Anti-Piracy Committee, from 2012 - 2013, the Education Committee at ASIPI (2013-2015 period) and the INTA Notorious Brands Committee (2015-2017 period).
Magali has also worked as adjunct Professor at the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC) teaching the course "Legislation in Communications" (2011-2019).
